The next generation in Apple power supply bricks. It feeds a firewire port. Of course now everything is USB, and firewire has faded into the background. As technology advances, stuff like this gets left behind. Because there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with it, the instinct is to save it. Squirreled away in the back of a drawer… sorry, but it’s nuts.

OK, I like the way you guys think. I believe passionately that every new item in should force an old one out. Huh. I think I may have been worshipping at the altar of Archimedes’ Corollary for a long time. I don’t think I need a manifesto to propel myself forward.
